Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

At SoftingArt, we are committed to delivering quality work and ensuring client satisfaction. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds or cancellations may be processed for our software development services.

2. Cancellation by Client

  • Before project commencement: If you cancel before any work has begun, you are eligible for a full refund of any advance payment made, minus a 5% processing fee.
  • After project commencement: If you cancel after work has started, you will be billed for the work completed up to the date of cancellation. Any remaining balance from the advance payment will be refunded within 7-10 business days.
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to softingart@gmail.com.

3. Cancellation by SoftingArt

In rare circumstances, SoftingArt may cancel a project due to:

  • Non-payment or repeated delays in payments by the client
  • Non-cooperation or prolonged unresponsiveness from the client (beyond 30 days)
  • Requests that violate legal or ethical standards

In such cases, a full refund for any undelivered work will be processed within 7-10 business days.

4. Refund Eligibility

Refund Applicable

  • Project cancelled before work begins (full refund minus processing fee)
  • Project cancelled mid-way (refund for undelivered milestones)
  • Duplicate or excess payment made by mistake
  • Service not delivered within the mutually agreed extended timeline

Refund Not Applicable

  • Work already delivered and approved by the client
  • Delays caused by the client's failure to provide required content, feedback, or assets
  • Change of mind after the deliverables have been completed as per the agreed scope
  • Third-party costs already incurred (domain, hosting, licenses, APIs, etc.)

5. Refund Process

  • To request a refund, email us at softingart@gmail.com with your project details, payment receipt, and reason for the refund request.
  • Refund requests will be reviewed within 3-5 business days.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method via Razorpay.
  • The refund amount will be determined based on the work completed, milestones delivered, and any third-party costs incurred.

6. Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with the refund decision, you may escalate the matter by contacting us. We will work in good faith to resolve the dispute amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Gurugram, Haryana, India.
